The Kingspan Vapor Barrier SAR membrane is a self-adhered vapor and air control layer comprised of an SBS asphalt and rubber blended formulation and a factory-laminated tri-layered woven sheet. It’s intended to be used as a vapor retarder in Kingspan Roofing Systems.

Can be installed on plywood, gypsum or concrete board, concrete, asphalt, or metal. Primer may be omitted when adhering directly to a steel deck in a mechanically attached system. All other applications and substrates must be primed prior to installation. Please use the Kingspan LVOC Sprayable Bonding Adhesive to prime the substrate in these applications.
Minimum Ambient Temperature for Installation: 40°F and rising.
Vapor Barrier SAR Dimensions: 39-3/8-in. W x 105 ft. L.
Coverage Rate: 318 sq. ft. when installed according to Kingspan specifications with a 3” overlap.
Packaging: Ships in a packaged roll. The roll weighs 80 lbs. (35.8 kg).
